Lives of Others

Press Photographer

Andy Rain is a British self-taught photographer born in Mauritius, but grew up in the UK.
Andy started out freelancing in south east Asia while based in Bangkok and later Tokyo,
working on human and environmental stories in the Balkans, the Middle East and Africa.
His view that 'the most tragic of all struggles, is one that goes unnoticed', has compelled him to
want to tell other people's stories. Rain now lives and works in London covering news, politics and
sports for EPA.  His work has been published widely across the world in such titles as Time magazine,

Stern, The Royal Geographical, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian and
The Times among others.
